4/29/2026 - Crews are repairing our main waterline on SR 93 in New Straitsville. There will be a boil order for this repair for Burr Oak Water customers in the area, as well as for the Village of New Straitsville.
Boil Order and Advisories
The above areas are under a boil advisory until further notice. We expect to lift the boil order by 5:00pm on April 30, 2026.
DURING a Boil Water Advisory:
Bring all water used for cooking and drinking to a rolling boil and continue to boil for one minute. Allow water to cool before using. If unable to boil your water, you can use bottled water until the advisory is over. For more information, see these CDC Recommendations. After your water is restored, you may notice some discoloration or air in the water. This is normal until it is flushed through the system.
